The Villages Daily Sun, America's fastest growing daily newspaper in the nation’s fastest growing metropolitan area, is seeking a visual editor with strong communication skills and a comfort level with assisting — and sometimes driving — the newsgathering process.
The Daily Sun is one of only three U.S. papers names as a top-10 finalist for SND’s World’s Best-Designed Newspaper (NYTimes and Memphis are the other two).
This position requires a strong grasp of design fundamentals, an experimental mindset and fluency in Creative Suite. Experience with a daily newspaper is preferred, though recent graduates with solid design portfolios are encourage to apply.
