Want to design the newspaper of tomorrow, today? We're New England Newspapers Inc., and we're blowing up the dominant paradigm in the news industry.
How? We're investing in people, not slashing staff; we're building sections, not cutting them out; and we're expanding how we cover local news, not closing bureaus. In fact, we recently re-opened two. Does that sound like where you work?
NENI is looking for full- and part-time news designers who will help us push the envelope in print, to fulfill our late owner Bob Wilmers' mission for our newsgroup to become the finest of its size in the nation.
NENI designers bring passion and flair to their work, as well as a sharp eye for Associated Press style, turns of phrase and details in design. At NENI's design hub, we create pages for news, sports and arts sections, seven days a week, 365 days a year, for four newspapers: The Berkshire Eagle, Bennington Banner, Brattleboro Reformer and Manchester Journal.
Time and again, these papers have been recognized for their merit in writing, photography, community service, overall presentation and distinction in journalism.
