Ian Adelman leads Digital Design at The New York Times, and has been designing digital products and experiences for more than 20 years. He has had his hand in digital publication design since 1996, as founding Art Director of Ian will share observations on how the work and challenges have evolved, how digital design works at the Times and what it means to practice digital news product design today. Ian Adelman, who has been called “one of the hottest hands in digital design,” is the Director of Digital Design at The New York Times, where he recently spearheaded a redesign of one of the top media sites in the world. Previously, under his direction, became widely recognized for its thoughtful and energetic visual expression of the New York magazine brand online.
