More than a year of sharing my opinion in words and art,
has been life-changing. It has been one damn tough challenge,
with a profoundly enlightening payoff. I am not the same person as when I started. I want every editor, designer and artist to experience the same.

Andrea Levy is an Emmy-winning, artist/columnist for the Plain Dealer in Cleveland. In August of 2013, the paper launched her often highly-controversial, full-broadsheet opinion page and blog, “Andrea Levy’s Opinion Art.” Her visual OPED portfolio from 2014, just earned the Society for News Design’s “Best in Show” honor at the annual competition, where she garnered three gold medals as well. Andrea has earned repeated recognition from the National Headliner Awards, the National Association of Black Journalists, and the National Press Photographers Association, among others.
