DEADLINE EXTENDED: Enter the Best of Print News Design competition

The deadline to enter the 42nd annual Best of Print News Design competition has been extended to Friday, March 5. You can enter the competition in our new online portal that is open for submissions. In order to safely continue the competition and encourage wider participation, the judging will be hosted virtually and we will be accepting all print entries as PDFs this year through the new judging platform. To better reflect the industry and the work we do, we’ve streamlined all of the categories. Some categories have been consolidated while others have been removed. Browse the full list of categories in the updated call for entries

The Society for News Design’s Creative Competitions are juried events recognizing journalistic excellence in storytelling, graphics, illustrations and photography across platforms. The goal of the contests are to identify the best of journalism that pushes the boundaries of design, technology and the printed page. By submitting, you help define the state of the art for our industry and all storytellers.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Competition Committee Chair Greg Mees at [email protected] or this year’s Competition Coordinator Virginia Singarayar at [email protected].
