‘Chasing Bayla’ Wins Silver Medal For The Boston Globe

The Boston Globe has been awarded a silver medal in the Features, Single Subject category for its piece “Chasing Bayla.”

Judges remarks:

  • “What they did here, you can click over to visual view and you can read this very beautiful and complete cliff-notes to the story.”
  • “I think it deserves a silver because of the experimentation, but I also feel that we have the types of materials to mold our stories with. This stood out from all of the other stuff we looked at. I think it’s an evolution of the visual story.”
  • “It’s very satisfying in the visual version of it.”
  • “It’s not only ambitious, but it’s successful.”
