Cleveland knows hard luck. Seriously, we’ve been called the “Mistake on the Lake,” our professional sports teams are far from great (far from good, actually), we’re in the “Rust Belt.” And our river caught fire. Yes, caught fire. But if you look closely, there’s an energy here. One of creativity, inspiration and innovation. It’s a place where people want to push harder, develop ideas, create things … make a difference. It’s a place that can draw a pretty strong parallel with the current state of our industry. Yes, things are changing — they have been for some time. Its uncomfortable, scary even. But just like here in Cleveland there is a huge opportunity to improve what we do. That’s why we’re the perfect host for SND’s 34th annual workshop. We want you to join us.
We’re building a different kind of workshop. First, we’re forcing folks out of the conference hotel so you can see some of the reasons why we love this city. You’ll walk a couple of blocks from the Hyatt Regency through downtown to One Cleveland Center, the site of some outstanding sessions. We won’t be serving any rubber chicken.

We have four keynotes (Amy Webb, Jim Brady, Michael Griffith and Marisa Gallagher) and other presenters (Mario Garcia, Zach Wise, Vince Chiaramonte, Heads of State) who are some of the brightest minds in our constantly changing business. And when you return to the hotel, you’ll be a mere feet to some of the best restaurants in the country (and of course a fair share of bars).
And we’ve blown up the awards banquet. Right now it’s a bit of a secret, but it won’t be the long, chicken-dinner event you’ve grown accustomed to. This is the Rock and Roll Capital of the World, afterall.
