SND HONORS 2007 GOLD MEDAL WINNERS
Out of the 13,862 entries issued for the 2007 Competition, only eight were awarded with Gold Medals. The winners were as follow:

- Mundo Del Siglo XXI (Spain) (1 of 2 awards)
- Mundo Del Siglo XXI
- The New York Times
- The New York Times Magazine
- The Palm Beach Post
- Virginian-Pilot
- Welt Am Sonntag (Germany)
Among the winners present at the banquet was the large contingent from Mexico City's Excelsior who won the honor for their incredible and bold redesign (below).
