RIP: Boris Yeltsin, 76

Alexander Zemlianichenko, Associated Press
Former Russian President Boris Yeltsin, who engineered the final collapse of the Soviet Union and pushed Russia to embrace democracy and a market economy, has died, a Kremlin official said. He was 76 years old.
So how will your news organization remember Yeltsin today and tomorrow?
The Blog is always reminded of the Pulitzer Prize winning photograph of Yeltsin dancing at a rock concert during his campaign for re-election in 1996. Alexander Zemlianichenko of the Associated Press captured that great unguarded moment (and, for Yeltsin, there were many), so we leave you with that (and the video below) for inspiration as you begin preparing your presentations.

People say the iconic image of Boris Yeltsin is him standing atop that tank, warding off the coup. Maybe, but the first image that came to my mind when I heard he was dead was this dancing foolishness. Thanks for posting it.
No problem, Mark ... Glad I am not alone in having that immediate reaction. That dancing stuff always just stuck with me.
