It sure does 'look' like those Mars-type canyons are close. Man, how did they get the permit for that. Note to Web Desk: Get Gaspard to explain this!
Obviously the Red Rock designers do not have a copy of the SND Code of Ethics... That lovely canyon is about 3 miles away!
