The Las Vegas Review-Journal is seeking a graphic artist/designer to help conceive and create informational graphics and illustrations and who can design pages for our newspaper and website.
We’re looking for someone seasoned in telling stories visually, who will emphasize information over decoration. With a redesign of our newspaper and website underway, we need an artist/designer with three or more years of experience who is capable of creating sophisticated informational graphics to meet the growing needs of more design-intensive products.
Qualified candidates should be proficient in Adobe software, including Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, and HTML and CSS, and have an understanding of how best to integrate graphics, photos, headlines and stories to create engaging pages.
The Review-Journal is an equal-opportunity employer and a drug-free workplace.
A pre-employment drug screening is mandatory.
Please send a cover letter, resume and samples of your best work to Laura Schwed, administrative editor, firstname.lastname@example.org, and put “Artist/Designer application” in the subject line.
