The Society for News Design and its affiliates
conduct many competitions throughout the year.
Best of News Design: The annual overall best of print design competition hosted by Syracuse University each February.
Best of Digital Design: The annual competition for multimedia design, hosted by Ball State University in Muncie, Ind.
Malofiej: The annual information graphics competition hosted by SND-E at the University of Navarra each March.
Student SND competition: The annual student design competition hosted by the University of Missouri each spring.
