SND35: Judges award silver to New York Times overall portfolio
Best of Digital Design judges awarded The New York Times’ organizational portfolio a silver medal. It was the 10th silver medal awarded in the competition.
“As a body of work, it’s really strong. … The ability for one organization to accomplish this over and over again is impressive.”
“There were games, there were data projects, and there was a twitter-bot. They pushed the boundaries of what is possible. It’s something that I think every organization should aspire to. It shows that we can do really serious journalism, and we can have fun.”
