SND STL: The Washington Post’s Laura Stanton on doing more with less

Doing More With Less
Shrinking newsrooms. Voracious web demand. Today’s graphics staffs are often expected to produce more content to spread across multiple platforms, while faced with shrinking staffs. This session examines ways to maximize a department’s impact and ability to react to news events. This will party be an idea-sharing session, so bring your own ideas!
About Laura Stanton
Laura Stanton has been a graphic artist with the Washington Post for 18 years-half of those working remotely from St. Louis. She spent time early in her career at the Dallas Morning News and the Chicago Tribune. She has won numerous awards, including SND, Malofiej, SPJ, and she was part of a Pulitzer Prize-winning team.
